Chief Executive



Phil Purver
Phil’s role is to deliver a strategy for success for customers, employees and partners alike. He has a firm focus on empowering people and businesses to thrive through great learning and development.
Having held senior roles worldwide across the IT, management consultancy and the HR sectors, Phil also has extensive experience of coaching and consultancy at board level.
Away from work, Phil likes to keep active, by skiing, walking and mountain biking… as well as putting his feet up occasionally to watch the rugby. Back in the 1980s, Phil worked down a mine on an Australian island and was also a dab hand at darts at University.

Sarah Kilian
Sarah leads the customer excellence team, expertly bringing the right people together to deliver and evolve online learning experiences that make a real difference. An experienced relationship manager, Sarah draws on over 15 years of operational and learning and development management.
Sarah is passionate about great delivery… and determined to have fun (and win a few awards) in the process!
In her spare time, Sarah loves taking wildlife photographs while travelling, is a food lover and a sport watcher. Her dream is to follow an F1 Grand Prix season with safaris and vineyard visits in between (lottery win required) … next stop Austria.

Daniel Mills
Daniel helps clients move away from traditional paper and classroom-based development towards blended solutions that use technology as the enabler for learning. He is a learning and development professional with over 15 years’ experience of supporting people to implement online learning solutions. His goal is to help individuals realise their potential and deliver increased business performance.
Daniel is a Chartered Member of the CIPD and the Institute of Leadership & Management, as well as a Fellow of The Learning & Performance Institute. He believes people are at the heart of organisational success and competitive advantage.



Client Partner



Ian Richardson
Ian supports clients with implementation and ongoing management of our learning experience platform across a wide range of organisations. He has over 20 years’ experience, working in senior learning and development and talent-focused roles, across financial services and food retail sectors.
For Ian, the best part of working at TWM is the people; he enjoys working within our friendly and focused team and building great client relationships.
Technical Team Lead
Chris Alexander
Chris leads our technical team and is responsible for the design and development of TWM’s core eLearning platform. He manages our development team and maintains the technical infrastructure within TWM. As part of the management team, Chris also supports the direction and growth of the business. He is a full stack developer, which means he’s a true all-rounder. He can handle all aspects of building an application, with a focus on core platform development and a strong interest in interface design.
Chris is artistic and enjoys crafting and making things, especially illustration.
Senior Web Developer
Daniel O’Neill
Daniel works throughout the life-cycle of our projects; liaising with clients from the scoping stage through to launch and further evolution of their learning and development platform. He is a full stack developer with a specific interest in SQL optimisation and has worked on many large projects, including O2 Campus assessments.
He loves the family feel of our team and says it enhances job satisfaction when delivering complex projects together.
Senior Web Developer
Jodie Watkins
Jodie’s role is to set up and maintain client learning and development academies. She is a whizz at designing and developing core and bespoke applications, as well as TWM’s eLearning platform. With a degree in Multimedia and Internet Technologies, specialising in web development, TWM has benefited from Jodie’s knowledge for over 10 years.
A creative person, who enjoys the great outdoors, Jodie loves interior design, gardening, and brisk seaside walks with her family.
Senior Web Developer
Paul Belton
Paul is an experienced and enthusiastic member of our technical team and works on developing TWM’s learning experience platform. Having worked with TWM for over ten years, Paul has been developing web applications since 1997, specialising in data manipulation and processing.
Away from the office Paul enjoys gaming: both retro and the very latest releases. He also loves to relax in front of a good film.
Web Developer
Kieran Smith
Kieran develops, maintains, supports all current and future products on TWM’s platform and is constantly looking for ways to further improve our offering for our clients. He has a deep experience of every product on our platform and a robust technical background. He loves the fact that no two days are the same at TWM and enjoys tackling challenges and finding fresh solutions.
Web Developer
Daniel Stanley
Fresh from university where he studied computer science, Daniel joined us as a developer. He supports clients with updates and maintenance as well as developing new functionality on TWM’s learning experience platform. His skills are in cross-platform development and design, database architecture and computer hardware, which is invaluable for data processing and product development.
Daniel loves our friendly culture and flexible approach to product support and development. In his spare time, he’s an avid bookworm and hiker.



Project Manager



Nicola Cox
Nicola’s role is to delight customers by keeping projects on track and on budget. She’s an expert at making things run smoothly and ironing out any bumps in the road. Nicola has experience working in the hospitality and learning technologies industries where she was responsible for contracts and account management.
A self-confessed multi-tasker, Nicola is also a skier, gardener, rock-chick, DIY fan, wine lover, culture hound and geek!
Business Manager and PA to CEO
Su Herring
Su works at the heart of the organisation and is crucial to its smooth running; overseeing the administrative activities including organising resources and information. Su has significant experience working at Board level as a PA and business manager. Having worked at TWM for nearly 10 years, Su enjoys the role immensely, especially the people she works with.
In her spare time, Su enjoys snorkelling; one of her biggest achievements, as she was frightened of fish as a child. Truly multi-talented, Su can also balance and walk on her hands!
Managing Director - Talent & Potential
Sarah Hobbs
Sarah leads the team at Talent & Potential, our strategic content and design partner for CareerBurst. She works across a wide range of clients, supporting them to develop and deliver their talent strategy and agenda as well as having supported thousands of individuals with their career development. Her expertise in talent management, succession planning and developing self-directed careers has been honed from years spent in large organisations heading up talent and learning functions.
Outside of work she enjoys being a trustee for a food poverty charity, voraciously reading, visiting historic ruins and watching as much Shakespeare as possible.
Instructional Designer
Richard Brook
Rich's role is to design and develop interactive digital learning courses for our clients. He began his career as an instructional trainer and designer which gave him a solid background in learning theory and practice. After various roles in L&D, he merged this experience with his passion for multimedia design and for over 15 years has been an instructional designer and active developer of e-learning solutions.
Rich has extensive experience using the latest technologies, digital learning techniques and creates innovative video and animation approaches as an alternative or to enhance traditional learning. Rich also loves storytelling and in his spare time gets involved in acting, writing and directing theatre shows.
